Is there a way to change/rename the URL for a Free Space page?

When I first started creating some of my free space pages I was not thinking and really did not "name" them properly. For instance, I created a free space for Woodlawn Cemetery. The URL for that is Space:Woodlawn Cemetery. The problem is I know of at least two Woodlawn Cemeteries in the county I grew up in and I am sure there must be numerous Woodlawn Cemeteries throughout the US. I would like to be able to change/rename the URL to be more accurate and possibly keep from causing confusion for others. Was not sure if there was a way to do this or if it was just something to remember for the future.

Brian (and Keith),

Sorry for the long delay in replying.

If it's really important that you change the URL, you can do it by creating a new profile with the name you want and then merging the old profile into the new profile.

Merging free-space profiles works the same as it does with people, but the link to the form is a little hard to find. Here it is: http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Special:MergeSpace

As you know, we want to do more with the Name field on free-space profiles, i.e. use that almost everywhere, so the URL doesn't matter so much.

Thanks both of you guys. You pointed me towards a couple new tools I did not realize existed. As long as it is not an issue I will probably leave them as is, until it is determined how the Name field is going to evolve. No sense constantly having to change things.
Another thought/question Chris... Does any coding exist to affect how things look on the category pages? for instance [[Chelton-4|BJC]] would display as BJC, can we do the same for categories or is it always the default "URL" name? I know someone mentioned that if you do [[Category:Department of Education|Educaction, Department of]] that it would sort "Department of Education" under the "E" section on the category page but I do not believe it affects how it is displayed.  Just curious.

I've not found a way to do so, but have been thinking about this. Since no one else jumped in to reply yet, I decided to offer what follows.

You might be able to save the information on the page in a file on your desktop, then try the Delete (see: http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Special:Delete) for one profile.

I don't know that this would work.  Just a thought.

Good Luck and thanks for all your contributions to the WikiTree Project!
