Conference time again, I'm afraid [closed]

Question

Eystein the Severe had been wrongly identified on another profile. Pretty sure this one is him. He has a duplicate [[Gautreksson-2| Eystein Gautreksson]]. I have come to that conclusion because of their daughters. (Asa, daughter of Eystein the Severe married Halfdan Hviebein). They have different parents, neither set appearing in Ynglingasaga. I need to get these guys merged to unblock the offspring. I propose unlinking from the parents (leaving the trail, of course) then merging. LNAB is the problem. Probably Unknown but I'm happy to leave it as Gautreksson for the moment. (Not good practice). Hopefully we might find out who he actually was when we look at another Saga! Eystein the Severe should crop up elsewhere.

C, would you please change the question title to reflect the content of your question? I doubt I'm alone in not understanding the "conference" reference and if I was working on profiles of this era I would never think to click on this question.  Thanks.

There is no mention of a son named Eystein for Gautrek so I think that Gautreksson is inappropriate.

There is a Eystein Unknown profile it sounds like that should be the one the others are merged into. https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Unknown-435716

Or perhaps to reduce the number of Unknowns, we use Hedemark as his Last Name at Birth (LNAB)
