Erin, Thanks for the reply. I think Eliza was born in Northern New Jersey, possibly southern NY. Not sure where Simeon was born, but it was 3 Aug 1805. They were married at Ponds Church, Oakland, Bergen county, NJ. Unfortunately, Ponds Church burned down in the later 1800s along with all its records. Eliza died 26 Nov 1849; Simeon died 6 Nov 1809; he had two wives after Eliza, Elizabeth Banta and Annie Burns. His gravestone is at Ponds Church, but can't find Eliza's.
Eliza and Simeon had children: Caroline, b. 1829, James 1831, Josephine 1833, Elizabeth 1835, Ann (my ancestor ) 22 Sep 1836, Cornelia 1838, Rachel 1839, Wilson 1842, John 1843, William 1846, Infant son died early , b. May 1949.
