Eric Gill needs some love

Eric Gill fought in D-Day WWII.  His profile has no parents, siblings  or spouse.  Anybody?

Someone with a Find my Past account with England access can see his birth record. I don't have that access but it shows up in the search.

This might be a little difficult.

FindMyPast shows both an Eric and an Eric R. Gill in Doncaster on the 2002 Electoral Register. Both are 65+. Eric R. has a Norma Gill living in the house. The other Eric is living alone. They don't show a marriage for either.

Harry was born in 1860, Eliza in 1858, son Eric was born 1916, which means Eliza was 58.  They married in Sheffield.  Married for 30 years before Eric was born in Yorkshire.

Maybe the Yorkshire marriage is the correct one.
