I've been working on an orphaned tree branch that had multiple generations with no dates and no locations.  Silly me, I set one of the birth years to after 1921 and accidentally switched the profile to private... and there is no active profile owner or person on the trusted list to send a request to.   Not sure what to do, because this profile will remain private forever now.  Is there someone with admin rights that can open it back up (i.e. remove the birth year?)

Jill, you need to email about this.  They are the only ones who can make changes to the profile.  They will want to know whether you are sure the person is not currently living before changing privacy.  If the person was born less than 100 years ago and you cannot confirm that he/she has died then the profile needs to stay unlisted.

Thanks, I will email them.  My concern isn't that the profile is hidden, it is that it is orphaned and hidden.... so nobody will ever be able to access it.  I will let them know... thanks again.
