Where is Lokis, Lithuania?

Question

While digging into my great-grandfather Joseph Gestaut, I found that his wife listed his birthplace as "Lokis, Lithuania" in her Petition for Naturalization. But I can't seem to find any place with that name in Lithuania. Does anyone have any idea where that might be? Thank you!

Hello, Joseph. There is a town in Telsiai county, Lithuania called Luokė. Just a theory - people from that district, Lowlanders (Žemaičiai) would have pronounced it as "Loki". Luokė Video Tour and Map

Lokys may be the correct version of Lokis -- this I don't know. Be aware, however, that the Gestautas name comes primarily from the Skaudvilė area.
