Can “Wiki Genealogy Feed” be improved?

The Wiki Genealogy Feed (which is e-mailed each day to WikiTree members) includes a report of New G2G Activity.  However the activity labeled Answered and Commented are not linked to that answer or comment.

Every WikiTree member has a My WikiTree tab in the upper right of their screen.  In the drop down for that tab is “G2G Feed”.  Clicking on G2G Feed shows activity labeled Answered and Commented and those labels are linked to that answer or comment.

Can the Wiki Genealogy Feed also include those links?

Thanks and sincerely, Peter

Me too.  This also applies to the G2G Discussion Feed section on the Nav Home Page.  Currently a waste of space, because it works much better just to go to G2G Feed on the My WikiTree menu.

Then you can go straight to the new post that bumped the thread, instead of having to go through all the answers in a long thread to find the one with the new comment that caused the bump.
Yes. The G2G Discussion Feed on the Nav Home Page should also have links like the “G2G Feed”.  Thanks RJ.
I've been wanting this forever...
I'll add it to the to-do list.

There can be many answers on a single question and those answers, as well as the question itself, can receive many comments. The email currently has a link to the questions and I'm really not sure how adding a link for every answer and comment would be an overall improvement. If you're interested in the subject, wouldn't you be interested in all the answers/comments?

If I'm missing the point, which is entirely possible, could you please help clear my befuddled head? cheeky

The link in the “G2G Feed” goes to that person’s comment or answer amongst what could be a long discussion with many contributions by others.  The “G2G Feed” link does not go to every answer and comment.   The improvement would be that “New G2G Activity” would behave like the “G2G Feed”.  It would be linked to that person’s answer/comment (in the context of the the other answers/comments) reported in the "New G2G Activity".

Hmm, yeah, I guess I can see the benefit. I can just see it being cumbersome for threads that get a lot of action in a short time.
I see it as less cumbersome.  Without a link you have to wade through all the postings trying find the one mentioned in the "New G2G Activity" report (or "G2G Discussion Feed").  If the "New G2G Activity" report and the "G2G Discussion Feed" included links like those in the "G2G Feed", then you would be able to easily find and read what was added to a long discussion.
Sometimes I can not find them - yes - but if I am super interested in that I keep looking or reread the other stuff making the discussion more clear so I am not sure if we need it - but here I am talking before coffee and that is not advisable at all coffee may change my mind

For me, I love getting the report, but the information cols are in the wrong sequence. I would like to see listing by Affected person, Birth place & date so I can quickly decide my interest. The current layout buries this information, then follow that with "updater" etc.

Profiles first, then updater would be much easier to read down the news feed list.
