Need pre 1500 certified member for merge Pomeroy-646 into Pomeroy-116 [closed]

I would take some convincing that Alice de Vere was the same person as Alice Redvers. Do you have any sources for this supposition?

I will let a pre-1500 person look into it. Many similarities on profiles. Not much in the way of source or detail. For now the Pomeroys can be merged, not much info there either but what is there is the same.

Or if you want to reject or put on hold fine. Just looks like an opportunity to clean-up.

Actually if you look at the profiles they are pretty sparse. At least two of them (one each) are bare bones with little info and no source. Whether they are the same or not it is a chance to get rid of useless stubs.

They look similar enough that they were meant to be the same. I wouldn't waste a lot of research on empty profiles like these. Save the ones with more info and ditch the empties.

I've merged them.  They clearly were the same man.  As to the wives, they are also the same.  If you look at the de Vere profile, it mentions she was detached from her purported de Vere parents.  So they are intended to be the same person as well.
