what happend to my gedcom file?

Question

When i joined Wikitree I uploaded my DNA and  a gedcom file, what happened to it? why do I have to make a profile for every member of my family?  All that info was in the gedcom including sauces and photos.  I dont understand.

Please read the help page for information about GEDCOMpare.

GEDCOMs are not automatically imported to WikiTree because there is only one tree here, not many as on Ancestry and many other familiar sites.

Sorry Dolores, but GEDCOMs are our weakness. We just cannot figure out how to use them properly. Good luck.
