Has anyone else run into issues when trying to join Daughters of the Confederacy?

+3 votes
I would really like to join the Daughters of the Confederacy, and I have actually e-mailed them 3 times now only to get a reply email each time from the receptionist stating she forwarded my information to the chapter leader...... however, even after 3 attempts have still never heard or received anything from a chapter leader.

I live out in Oregon and from what I can tell I am not close to any local chapter, but shouldn't someone have gotten back to me by now?

Anyone else ever had this issue?

Anyone know what I should do in order to get the ball rolling so I can join?

There is a telephone number, did you try calling them. Do you need the number?
Did you call the  DOC in Washington?? they could give you the information of a local chapter. If not  look on line for the closet  Chapter and either call (like I did)  , You can print out the application to join from online .But, you will need  alot of information before hand to prove you are in line with a Conf. Soldier. Do you have this information??  If not I can private message you want  you need.  But, it should be on line. It is really not hard to join just got to have proof that is all.
