That information may have a generational error in it. Michele Fiorentino (Fiorentini) b.1849 who married a Rosaria Panno b.1853 - Does the surname have an "i" or an "o" at the end?

Michele Fiorentino b.7 December 1849 parents were Teodoro Fiorentino and Cristina Gammino, based on Italy, Select Births and Baptisms, 1806-1900. He was baptised on 9 December 1849 FHL Film Number:1178238
Thanks Amanda,

The original surname ended on an "o". I have a copy of my Grandfathers baptismal cert. from Casteldaccia and it shows his bd as 3 Nov. 1892, baptized on 13 Nov. 1892, and born to Francesco Fiorentino  di Michele e di Rosaria Panno. Rosaria's parents were shown as Francesco Panno and Sebastiana Pinello.

I also have a picture of Mitchel Fiorentini and Rosaria that has a note on the back listing his death as 6 Jan, 1925 and hers as 10 March 1931.

Additionally I don't have any official documents but family records indicate that Mitchel and Rosaria had 6 children.

Frank died at birth bd unknown

Francesco bd 3 Nov. 1892

Stephano bdu- father of Sariana

Mary bdu

Concetta bdu

Frances bdu - father of Giuseppe Antonio and Felice

Does this look like it could all fit together?

Thanks

Mike

Ok. So I think I understand that,  Francesco b.1892 aged 20 travelled from Naples, Italy to New York, New York on a ship called the Konig Albert and arrived in New York, USA on 3 May 1912. Does this sound correct for the date of immigration?

On the ships manifest, they required "the name and complete address of nearest relative or friend in country whence alien came" and he appears to list Wife. (unreadable) Piona so I wonder if the Panno was previously spelt differently? in your fist post you had Pano with one "n" I am not familiar with Italian and do not know whether that surname would ever be spelt Piona.
Not correct on the immigration for Francesco Fiorentino. I have the ships manifest for the Perugia sailing from Palermo, Sicily to Ellis Island, NY arriving on 5 March 1910. It lists my Grandfather Francesco as # 0018

Franseco, Fiorentino, M, 17 yrs, Single, from Casteldaccia, Sicily.

I think you may have a different individual.

Francesco married Lucille Mansfield in Metropolis IL, USA on 6/15/1919.
Excellent. That's very helpful
I have located that record. So aged 17 he immigrates to the USA alone. His father is given as his kin in Casteldaccia.

I cannot read the designation for the City or Town he intends to go to. Can you advise?
I don't know what was listed but I know he ended up in Ladd, IL and worked in the coal mines until joining the Army June 23, 1917.

1930 US Federal Census

Frank Fiorentini is living at 805 Metropolis, Massac, Illinois as a naturalized Citizen, he works in a for Bending Co as a Laborer, he is living with his wife Lucille and 5 of his children. On this record his birth is given as 1895

1940 US Federal Census

Frank Fiorentini is living at 805 Metropolis, Massac, Illinois as a naturalized Citizen, he works in a Glove Factory as a Laborer and served in a WWII, he is living with his wife Lucille and 6 of his children plus his son in law Edwin Brown who is married to Mary F Fiorentini and his new grandchild Judith Brown aged 1 month at the time of the census.
