James, I am not able to see the picture of your Uncle William Matthews that died in the battle of the bulge, but I am very sorry for your family's loss.
I am not sure how old he was, but anytime there is a loss of a loved one it is terrible for the remaining members of the family.
He died in the service of his country, and I salute him for his dedication.
