We are looking for any information we can about this couple...however, we are specifically looking for the wife's maiden name.

 

Columbus C. Cotton (b.1896 in Mo. - d. 1956 possibly in Cheyenne, Wy)

Wife is Hazel May ??. b. abt 1903 in Kansas.

In 1920 they resided in SHerlock, Finney Cty, KS. In 1930 and 40 they lived in Greenwood Cty, Ks.

Some 32 possibilities are available in the 1910 Kansas census. Best two are Hazel M. King in Linn County, KS in 1910, and Hazel M. Strohm in Labette County in 1910. Eliminating seven other Hazels with middle initials other than M, there are 23 remaining possibilities. Both of these two Hazel M. girls were living in nontraditional homes in 1910, which might mean an earlier than usual marriage. Of course, your Hazel might not be any of these.
