match to private entry

I have one suggested match in my GEDCOM compare to entry that is private.  It is a match to one of my distant cousins (living), who I do know about, but am not in contact with.  Considering that the person who has the tree that contains this entry has set it on private, I am not sure if it is OK to match it, and enter it into my tree.  But this match is the only one I have, and it seems that I am not able to get more suggestions until I process what is offered to me.  So, what should I do with it?

I suggest that you mark this as a Match (temporarily -- you can change this later) and send a Private Message to the manager of the other profile to see if the other profile is the same person. You can work on the rest of the people in your Gedcom while you are waiting for an answer.
