We need help locating who his parents were. There were two George Trombly’s from the same area and both served in the civil war. However I’m hearing he is the son of Joseph Trombly who is a son of Jean Baptiste Trombly. The other George Trombly he is being confused with is the son of Edward Trombly also son of Jean Baptise Tremblay. Need help with profile resources categorizing etc. any help is appreciated. Thank you wikitree family

This is true I’m still trying to sort it out so confusing. Thank you
I corrected his location of death
Excellent source and have updated his profile with this record

This is the other George Trombly which is very similar but not the same both share Jean Baptiste Tremblay as their grandfather we believe.

In his death record (unless it's another George TROMBLY), his mother is listed as S. BAKER. If she is of French Canadian descent, her real name was very likely BOULANGER.

Are you sure about the first name Cheschese ? It seems to me that it's a misreading of Théotiste.

Yes I have been told a Belanger and also yes Theotis is his wife. I can’t spell it correctly. This is correct the info your providing. I’m trying to untie the two George Trombly’s
Not confident on Cheschese but the records seem to show that as part of her name

Apparently there were 3 George Trombly’s and everyone is having a hard time finding the parents of their George here is the ancestry message board link
