I'm trying to cleanup the profiles I just recently adopted, and need to know what the Source S714 in "<span id='S714'>S714</span>" means.

This is my first atempt at cleaning up, so I hope everyone will bare with the questions that are to come.

This is left over from importing a GEDCOM generated on Ancestry. It refers to a source later in the profile that starts with that number. Cleaning those up to be real sources would be useful. Anyway, look further down the profile and you will see the email that it references and its content.

Re: [[Crawford-877]] OK, I've done something wrong.  has unmatched ref tags, but I can't find what's unmatched. I'm not getting my Sources to show up on the page.

I fixed the ref tag problem. When you use the "ref name" coding, you have to use exactly the same name every time you invoke the named source (this includes quotation marks if you included then when you defined it), and the subsequent citations need to end with /> (not /ref>).

Thanks, Ellen.
