I am looking for anything to do with William Taylor. Specifically his date of death and whether or not he had a child from his short marriage to Margaret.

Any clue, no matter how vague, would be appreciated.

I can find his marriage to Margaret on 11/14/1848 on Geneanet and am looking for more info on other sources, currently military records. Do you know what town he was born in in Northern Ireland? Antrim? Londonderry? I can find discharge papers for William Taylors, and there may be death or burial records in here, but a DOB or POB would help narrow the search, if you have it. Thanks. Oh, William Taylor's father's name was James and Margaret McCaul's father's name was Charles, if you don't already have this information.

Thanks so much for your efforts. I have a copy of the marriage record on the profile and that is the extent of what I know. He was married in Belfast so I assume he was local. The father, James may have been an innkeeper.
Oh, I should have also mentioned that his bride was only 17 at the time of the marriage and she re-married in 1855 and is listed as a widow. So, William's death happened between 1848 and 1855.
