Want to send invitation, don't know LNAB

Question

I'm giving a presentation on WikiTree at a local Genealogy group. I told people I'd send them invitations to join because I have their email addresses. LNAB is "required". Most group members are women with married names so I don't know LNAB. Do I have to ask each one for LNAB before I invite? Or enter "Unknown"? Or enter the married name and have them change it?

I wouldn't suggest creating a bunch of unknowns When an LNAB is changed, in the background we need to create a new WikiTree profile and merge the existing profile into it. What I would suggest is contacting them and getting the correct information as to limit clutter and using up of valuable system resource.

The least messy way would be to give them a general link to WilkiTree in an email and ask them to setup their own profile, having them contact you if assistance is needed.

I thought that might be the way to go. I was going to do the invitations so I could keep track of them. But when I saw the  LNAB matter I realized it wasn't going to be a good idea. Just wondered if I was missing something. Thanks for the quick response, I'll change course with the group.
