Would like to discuss Downs and Nathan Calhoun, Laurens and Ninety-Six SC late 1700s.

I'm trying to research the Downs and Nathan Calhoun, brothers, from the area of Ninety-Six South Carolina in the late 1700s to early 1800. I have visited the graves of Downs Calhoun and his wife Martha Puckett Calhoun.

Downs and Nathan Calhoun were brothers, they married Martha and Mary Puckett, 2 brothers married 2 sister.  Martha and Mary were the daughters of Dabney Puckett.

Since I travel to Laurens and Ninety-Six my brick wall has not cracked.

Downs Calhoun was the son of William Calhoun.  The Abbeville SC Calhoun’s. Are you looking for descendants or I assume ancestors?

Ralph Calhoun, thank you so much for your reply.  I'm trying to connect with someone connected to this Calhoun family.  I had two great great Puckett aunts they married Downs and Nathan Calhoun.  I have visited Downs Calhoun land and cemetery and saw the grave of my great great aunt; very impressive.  Then I visited the church of Nathan Calhoun.  

I would like to find out where they two Calhoun brother met and married the two Puckett sister.  This would help me creak my brick wall.

Unable to answer your question but I did find this reference on Nathan and Martha

Valuable research entitled "Calhoun Family Research", and held at Clayton Library for Genealogical Research/Houston Public Library. Reference-shelf number C152/Calho/Fam. Info therein at p. 30 (original), gives cited and corroborated reference concerning Martha and Nathan.
