What did I do wrong in creating a Category or is it a Project?

+4 votes
I tried to create a new category that I hoped would generate some interest and perhaps help in a genealogical way as well.

Ater creating it I was never able to find it again (and apparently no one else could either) until I stumbled across it while going through old Activity Feed items. The link is below,. Can anyone explain what I d I'd wrong and how to correct it? Thanks

It's actually not a category yet because the link is red. This is a "Wanted Category." and it needs to find a place in the category tree (hierarchy.) (See information about this here:https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Categorization#Categorizing_categories)

What would the parent category be? In other words, where does this fit into our current categories? What sort of category is this?

I know, it's a lot of questions but they are necessary if we are to categorize correctly. If we know where it belongs, we can assign the parent category and it will turn into a green link and join the category tree!

I think as a spacepage project it would be somewhere under Slavic Roots

One could take a look at the subcategories under their project category:

-and, of course, seek advice from the project.
Collaboration, for the win!
I just looked up Carpatho-Rusyns using WikiTree's general search and there were a few results that might interest you,  including mention of a DNA project.
