September 28 - October 1 — the start of Family History Month — is our third annual "Source-a-Thon".

This three-day event is for a good cause (sourced genealogy!) and there will be over $3,000 in door prizes donated from around the genealogy community. It will be lots of fun.

The event will go from Friday, September 28 at 8 AM (ET) to Monday, October 1, 8 AM (ET).  Note: We've changed the start/end time from last year.

Team Knitting Sourcers, should be fun.  Currently knitting a Fiori Di Sole shawl using Alpaca lace yarn using size 4(US) needles.  I'll be adding sources to several family lines I'm working on here in the Southeastern part of the United States.

Sign me up please! I'm a first-year participant so I dont have a team. I'm in Michigan, and my most recent ancestors were all in the Great Lakes area, so I feel like that's the team for me if they're still a team this year.

If they aren't a team this year, I have Polish, German, Irish, Canadian, and Mayflower/colonial American ancestors, so wherever that puts me.
