Question

Is anyone a member of the Pioneers family of genealogy websites and willing to do some lookups? I'm particularly interested in Tennessee and Virginia wills for members of the Clements families.

Benjamin in Fluvanna almost impossible to read.  Names daughter Nancy and son Charles.  Date is 1815.

Don’t find Benjamin or Philip in Goochland, just Stephen.

Francis left his plantation called Indian Spring to the church.  Names father Fra (ncis?), uncles Capt. Wiliam Browne (?), Maj. Nich. Merriweather, cousins William, David, Eliz., Jane, Sarah, and Mary Merriweather, Ann Johnson, Jane Walker, Mary, Eliz. and Anne Browne, brother Benjamin Clements, mother-in-law Lydia Clements [probably meaning his step-mother], brother Thomas, cousin Henry Browne, cousin William Browne

Dated April 8,1721

I should have said Southampton, not Goochland, for Benjamin and Philip Clements.

Ok, from Southhampton, Benjamin Clements’ will names son George, George’s children Elizabeth, Thomas, Lucy, George, and Richard, son Benjamin, son Thomas, daughter Anna, granson Thomas Batts, daughter Elizabeth Batts, nine grandchildren, the children of Peter Batts named Thomas, John, Benjamin, William, James, Daniel, Lucy, Mary, and Elizabeth, granddaughter Judith Gilliam (?), grandson Thomas Clements Gilliam, five more grandchildren the children of Thomas Peete (?) named Elizabeth, Samuel, Benjamin, Thomas, and Alexander Peete, grandson Thomas Clements Batts, reiterates his own children Benjamin, Thomas, Sarah Batts, and Anna.  Dated 9 July 1778.  

There is a will for a second Benjamin Clements, listing son Thomas, son Francis, son John, daughter Sarah, daughter Elizabeth, wife Elizabeth. dated16 Dec 1778

No Philip.
