Hello Catherine, Do you have a question that we can help you with?
I have information starting with Moses Simmons ( Moyses Symonson ) who arrived on the "FORTUNE "  in 1621. It goes through for 8 Generations, yet I'm having difficulty following the line to names that  I recognize.

My Great-great Grandfather was Sylvester Simmons ,b. 10/16/1852 - d. 03/10/1935 in Waldoboro , Me. His second wife, Lucinda Gross (01/02/1875 - 11/09/1929) WAS THE MOTHER OF MY gREAT gRANDFATHER , Abdon Simmons ( 1880 - 1946) his wife was Hattie Edith Sidelinger (1883 - 1944).

Sylvester's parents were John Simmons & Susan Amanda Gross. It appears that both Sylvester's  Grandfather and Great Grandfather were both named Isaac.  Can  anyone help fill in the gaps ? or help me to figure it out from the information I already have ?
I see that you are still a Guest member. I have added the Greeters tag to your question so that someone can guide you through completing the membership process. You can then begin to develop your branches of the tree with sourced information. It will then be easier for folks to help you fill in the gaps and connect to the main tree.

The surname was common enough in England, so I don't suppose Moses was the ancestor of all Americans of that name.

Moses's profile here

but his "father" seems to be a mutant duplicate of himself, since they both immigrated in 1621.  Almost everything else on the father's profile seems to be fictitious.
