I am looking for information on a Clyde Smythe (some family members spell the surname smyth) born 27 Mar 1887 near Georgetown(Shortcreek) Harrison County Ohio married Lizzie(Elizabeth) D Heston on 27 Dec 1911. He had 1 daughter Evelyn Grace Smythe born in 1914 and two sons John Wilfred Smythe born 1917(my father) and Adrian Heston (known as Jimmie) Smythe born 1921. They lived in Brilliant Jefferson Ohio. Found in the 1910 census living with brother Ora Smyth in Ohio; found in the 1920 census in Brilliant with wife daughter Evelyn and son John. He is missing from the 1930 census. According to my fathers recollection he left Brilliant and later moved to Gary Indiana where he worked for the Steel Mill in Indiana. I contacted them for work history and was told he retired from there and they had no forwarding address. Just remembered he was going to buy a farm. I have found his world war I and his World war II draft cards. (the WWII card is from walkerton Indiana). I am trying to locate any information as to his life after leaving Brilliant.
Father's name was John W Smyth and mother Hinter or Esther Cramblett.
