Check the Nalls and Carroll family on Familysearch.org: cnalls157, (Fr Charles and his wife Elizabeth Carroll Nalls). They have your man and his family history, and also a date of arrival of 1674 for someone with the same name sans the "z". If they were married in NYC in 1652, the latter may be a nephew or some other younger relative.
