Liz: A huge thank you for your conferral of Gateway Guardian of MC Gateway George Elkington -8, on me!  I've been working for months, with David Douglas' help, to find a gateway.  Thank you David for your help and encouragement!  I found a good "hail Mary run" direct to MCSB Hugh BiGod, but then discovered profile problems.  The Elkington break-though came when I compiled a list of only my Ancestry family tree (6,000+) blood relations, and compared that to all of Robert's "The Royal Descents of 600 Immigrants" gateways.  Several names were in common, but most ended up being cousins.  George Elkington was a direct relation.  Interesting that Robert's trail, forward from Elkington, ends with George HW Bush and George W Bush.  To Liz and David, you are a blessing to the Magna Carta Project.  You don't get enough appreciation for your help!
