Whether to duplicate material on spouses' pages?

I often wonder whether to duplicate information (such as lists of children) on spouses' pages. For example, the page of Amy (Gatewood) Burnett includes information on her marriage to John Burnett, including the names of their children. His page does not include any information. Should I copy the information about the marriage and children from her page to his, or should I reference her page as the source, rather than duplicating the information?

Thank you.

Each profile should be able to stand in its own right without having to reference to others. I think the marriage and children should be shown on the profiles of both spouses.

Since each profile has a biography of the person (or a will as in John's case), there is no real need to copy the information about the children and spouse on John Burnett's page because all the children are listed and also the marriage to Amy.

If the profile were blank, then the information about his marriage and children might be included in a biography.  It would be nice to find some additional sources.  I always include the marriage source for both parents in each profile if I can.
