Thomas Pearson-393 Wm Penn & Early PA Settlers Project?

Thomas Pearson Sr is known to have arrived 1683 with his family but there is evidence that he made an earlier trip and is the Thomas Pearson Penn referred to as his friend. This is not all my research...I have just been cleaning up a messy ancestor (7th great grandfather) profile and installing better sources while weeding out some that did not apply.

Should he be in the Wm Penn & Early PA project? I keep seeing ongoing discussions on the specific definitions to be met and so was not sure. Would also appreciate more eyes on did he make an earlier trip (it appears his brother probably did due to property records). Note that he is generally referred to in contemporary records as Thomas Pearson of Marple to distinguish him from the others named Thomas Pierson. Perhaps a Penn specialist can confirm if he is or is not the Thomas Pierson called friend by Penn.

I believe he should be in the project.  If he arrived in 1683, or if he arrived earlier, he qualifies in either case.  The Penn project is for settlers who arrived before Oct 1701.

The Endeavor is not on the Welcome Society's list:

But as they settled in Delaware - then a part of Pennsylvania...

actually, Delaware was a part of Pennsylvania until the Revolution War when it was finally recognized as a colony in its own right.
Yes, Endeavor was in the 'second wave' arriving 1683. Lots of ships listed as part of the overall Penn inspired migration everywhere but the Welcome Society. I guess I don't quite understand their criteria (not that the Society interests me).

As relates to finding the first voyage of John Pearson, brother of Thomas, and whether Thomas was with him it seems that so many passenger lists are incomplete that proving or disproving that is likely impossible, yes?

I've got a number of ancestor profiles in the Penn category so I guess I should join the group at least for a time.
