Mordaci was born 5 NOV 1840, in Warren Co., Kentucky, and died 7 DEC 1913 in Logan Co., Kentucky.  His father, James Alton Kober, was born in 1811

1900 US census has a Mordecai Cole living in Warren, KY with wife Emma C.  Married 37 years - abt 1863- would have been during the civil war.  But this man was born in FEB 1840?  Didn't find them in any other census.
