Why so many False FAG not matching profile suggestions showing up lately? [closed]

I just checked the "suggestions" list and have found tons of suggestions that the Find A Grave memorials linked to profiles I recently added do not match (572 FindAGrave - Linked grave not matching profile ).  They actually do match exactly!  What's going on?  Am I missing something or is there a glitch in the data system?

Is it possible the error came up because the photo of the grave marker uses Mrs. W P Woodham instead of Sarah? In any event, I would suggest in those cases where you know that the match is a good one, just mark the error as a false error and hide forever.

Thanks, Shirley.  I thought it had to be a glitch.  I have been correcting the few that needed it and putting false suggestions on the others.

I find that I get that error when I use Find A Grave of another person in the biography, for example, if I use Find A Grave as a reference for a child of the main profile person - then it says the FAG and profile don't match. I just mark them as false errors.

I get those too, Robin.  However, this batch was for the right person with the same names, dates and even locations for the most part.

When a Find a Grave for a father is used in a sons profile, it isn’t a False Suggestion on the son.  The template should be changed to have |sameas=no after the memorial number and before the squiggly lines.  That  indicates it is a Find a Grave for a relative but not for the person in the profile.  The fathers profile can have |sameas=yes when others are included in his profile record to indicate that is the one that matches the profile and not any others.
