Hello Anonymous, Do you have a source for the possible son?

Hi,

Since the profile gives no sourced information. It might be beneficial to get some information on this Samuel Sexton.

I have found a Samuel Sexton who served in the Revolutionary War around 14 Apr 1778 reaching the rank of Lieutenant

Military Unit: First Regiment (Bergen County); First Regiment (Essex Militia); First Regiment (Monmouth Militia)

Source Citation

National Archives; Washington, D.C.; Compiled Service Records of Soldiers who Served in the American Army During the Revolutionary War; Record Group Title: War Department Collection of Revolutionary War Records; Record Group Number: 93; Series Number: M881; NARA Roll Number: 593

However I don't believe it this one as  he appears to have died in 1790 time of will was December 5th 1790 it quotes having a Wife named Sarah and sons Jacob and John and daughter Rachel.

As you see will need much more sourced information.
