mother's DOB has to wrong - she gave birth at age 56?

I tend to agree the DOB is wrong. The date of marriage given in the bio is 1580 yet elsewhere states 1603. The bio says she was 52 years old at her death in 1631. I wonder if the 1580 marriage was not that of her parents which would give her a DOB around 1579.

The profile doesn't look good at all. Her eldest son is given as Thomas born c. 1597 in Sidmouth. I've found a Thomas Clappe baptised 4 October 1600 in Sidbury (very close to Sidmouth) but his father is given as Rycharde. I've only found the baptism for one of their children - the oddly named Redegon.

There was a marriage in Exeter on 17 October 1580 between a Nicholas Clapp and Elizabeth Yonge but this marriage is too early to be producing the kids c. 1600-1620. Maybe two different people have been aggregated here.
