Delete image

I'm trying to delete an image from Winchester-1036. There are two photos of the same lady, but one is larger than the other. I cannot figure out how to do this though the Help file.

Terry, the language used here seems backwards, but we don't delete images from a profile.  Instead, we remove the profile from the image - it's really the same thing, though, but I easily understand why it is confusing!

Here's what you do:

  1. Go to the profile and click the image to open its page.
  2. Scroll all the way down until you see an area where you can connect the image to a profile.  You'll see a list of all the profiles the image is connected to with a little round circle that you can click to un-fill it.  That will disconnect the image from the profile.
  3. Continue to scroll down to find the big green button to SAVE your changes and click that.
  4. The image is no longer connected to the profile and if it is not connected to any profile then in a few days it will be deleted from the server (that's in case you change your mind and want to use it somewhere - you would have to write to the tech team to get it back, though).

Gaile: I'm at https://www.wikitree.com/photo/jpg/Winchester-1036 and don't see anything that asks to connect image to profile.

Am I on the right page?
Yes, Terry, That's the right page.  I just looked to get the exact language for you.  On the left side, under the "Add a Comment" section you will see "Edit Image Details".  Under that is "Image Title" and under that is "People and Things in the Image".  That's the section you want.  There is a listing for Nancy Winchester that has 3 of those little circles (they're called "radio buttons") named uncertain, certain, and REMOVE from Image.  You want to click the one for REMOVE from Image to color it black.  Then scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page and click the big green button named SAVE CHANGES TO IMAGE DETAILS.

It looks like it's slightly different from how I originally remembered it - when I said there was a radio button that you could un-color, I was wrong and I apologize for having further confused you with something that's not there.
OK, thanks Gaile. I seen that radio button to remove from image, but I figured it was to remove the TEXT from the IMAGE. Better language would help on these. :-)

Thank you again.

I think I indicated in my original post that I can't figure it out from the Help Pages. I did try one option, but the image is still there.
