I was looking at some past questions/answers asked in past challenges. I came across this FAG in someones list of, I think Profiles sourced by them during, if I remember correctly, I believe it was Sept. 2016 chanllege. Thanks for all input. Go Teams everywhere.

I NEVER use FAG on site, but I do in my personal notes. Too much potential for offense; an unfortunate acronym!

FAG is short for Find A Grave https://www.findagrave.com/

That is why i type it out--no question
me too! or "memorial"

there's also a template:

{{FindAGrave|memorialnumber}} - see https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Links_to_FindAGrave for details.

I usually add to the info, e.g.,

{{FindAGrave|memorialnumber}} for This Person (burial: unknown; no sources of pictures), memorial created date by person
Thank you. I find the term a little offence but do understand why it is used.

Hi,

I have also used "fag"(findagrave) for referencing. While personally I hold no contempt in using it, I could understand where some may find it offensive. To anyone who would find this offensive please accept this apology. I'm sure nobody on wikitree would want to be an offense to another by the use of an acronym yes
