Looking for info on a James J. Cameron married to Emily (Druneau)

Hello, I'm trying to research my family history. I hope this is the right place. I'm looking for information on my great great great grandfather James J. Cameron. Here's what I have so far:

James J. Cameron born in Scotland, married to Emily Druneau who was born in France.

Their son, James J. Cameron was born in Chelsea, England in 1870 or 1871. James married Caroline Bell Harley in Clark Co., Ohio, USA in 1903. I'm not sure when James immigrated to the United States. I have heard he came to Canada from England first, before coming to Ohio.

Caroline Bell Harley was born about 1872 in Springfield, Ohio. The daughter of Primrose Harley, born in Scotland, and Kate E. Shields, born in England.

James and Caroline had 3 children, the second being Harley L Cameron. Harley Cameron married Fannie Bracken. Harley and Fannie had 2 children including my grandfather, Lloyd H Cameron. Lloyd married Lessie LaCombe, they had 4 children including my father Ricky John Cameron.

Sorry if that was too specific (or not specific enough). My ultimate goal is to trace my paternal lineage back to Clan Cameron in Scotland. I am having trouble locating records from Europe. Thanks in advance, Lloyd Cameron.

James J. Cameron born 23 Aug 1870 at Chelsea, England married Caroline Bell Harley on 23 Nov 1903 at Clark County, OH. His parents confirm the title of your post.

There were two men named James Cameron born in Arbroath, Angus, Scotland. One on 6 May 1835, son of John Cameron and Mary Williamson, and the other 2 Dec 1846, son of John Cameron and Jane Fotheringham. Another James Cameron was born 20 Dec 1849, at Lumphanan, Aberdeen, Scotland, son of Joseph Cameron and Jane Rae. One more James Cameron was born in Midmar, Aberdeen, Scotland 25 My, 1854, son of James Cameron and Isabel Coutts.

You can view others at  familysearch.org  Somehow more clues seem necessary to pinpoint the next generation back on the paternal line.

I'm drawing a blank on how to determine which is the correct one, but there are some other researchers on the board who may have some insight on how to proceed.

Did you ever find a record in England that had James J. Cameron had a

father James J. Cameron and Mother Emily? The reason i ask there is a

record his Father Is James Cameron born in Scotland but with different mother.

Perhaps James J. had a previous marriage before Emily Druneau?
