I know where my dad was married and date but cannot find him

I have just started my tree, the onlyinfo Ihave is that he lived and died in Brora Sutherland  was a corporal in the Seaforth Highlanders, and his wife was Agnes Baxter Wood Leslieand they were married in Stonehaven on 24Jan 1942 John as far as I am aware has a brother called Duncan.Hope you can help Thankyou.I am looking for whatever info I can find about my father as I didn't know him.I am assuming his death to have been between 1980 & 2000 sorry I dont have much more information where can I find it?

I assume that John is the first name of Agnes' husband. So, the  last name is needed.

In addition to John's last name, is Agnes Baxter Wood Leslie the full name given to Agnes when she was an infant?

Scotland's People is free to search, you only have to pay when you want to view the results. The following result to find the marriage certificate cost me 1 credit for example. I found it by using just the forenames and the marriage area and the year.

Here are the details of their marriage. I found the record of their marriage certificate by searching on Scotland's people (http://www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk/), using just their forenames and the year of their marriage and the district which is Kincardine (Stonehaven is in the Kincardine district). You can order a copy of their certificate directly from Scotland's People.
