Why are G2G questions and answers getting crossed?

For my recent G2G question Would I get a red check data message if I had not logged into WikiTree?  I received one answer of

This was from anonymous whose IP address was the same as the questioner for  What was the cause of death of Bad Frank Phillips?

The question starts out:

Awful Frank Phillips was the desperado and abundance seeker employed to slaughter or catch individuals from the Hatfield family in KY in 1888. 

 

I am reluctant to follow random links and find it strange that these seem to have crossed.

I think your question got targeted by a spammer Norm. The response has now gone. Suggest you remove the dogdy lux link from your post so nobody clicks on it by mistake.
