Thanks Tom. All I have to go on is William R. Fish as it is spelled and recorded was my GG grandfather. He was married in Moundsville, WV to Amy Venus in Dec 1848. I cannot trace William's parents. William left Moundsville shortly after they were married and moved to Lawrence County IL where I currently live. They lived here until 1878-1879 then went back to Moundsville, WV. I have traced Amy's line but cannot find William's line.
