Born in New York City in 1840 (March?) and died in 1902 in Bradford, PA. Married Elizabeth Ratel, and had 8-9 children. Sarah E b. 1861, James b. 1863, Harriett b. 1865, Virginia b. 1867, J.P. born 1871, Elfreda b 1875, Pearl b. 1880, Neva b. 1884 and Bessie b. 1885.
I can't find any info on his parents, but census records say his father was from Ireland and mother was from England. He is also possibly listed as being Insane in "U.S. Federal Census - 1880 schedules of defective, dependent and delinquent classes"
