[Alex' de Markham, Miles, Castellanus de Nottingham (H.II=1154-1189)]: He is from what I have been able to find so far, a lone mention of him, as given, in the time of King Henry II, and no known mention of any offspring, or any other connection to any other Markham family I know of. Markham books and others, have loosely connected him as they have, or let me see what refs you have. Fulc/Fulk and Turold de Lisours/de Marcham, are brothers and 'Men of Roger'. They are found much, with others, in the Cartulary of Blyth Priory. They might be connected to one Roger de Est Marcham, and also look into William le Chievre, 'la Capra', Baron of Devon ('William the Goat'), who held, under his many lands, "Marcham". Markham books downloadable from my profile page. Hope to do some pre-1500 entries in time, I have loads to put out there. Thanks - Tom.
