Newspaper lookup request

Would someone be so kind as to look for a newspaper blurb for Isham Walker relating to his death during the Civil War. I've seen the clipping and had a digital copy at one time, but evidently lost it with a computer crash. I have no idea which pqper it was in but do know it was a Georgia newspaper. It says something to the effect that he died after becoming ill and wore the blue and grey.

Thank you!

Are you perhaps thinking of Thomasville Southern Enterprise paper?

I’m not sure which newspaper it was. The digital clipping I had was cropped from what looked like the body of the paper. I just know his death was published and made reference to his service in the civil war.

Did you come across something?
You know, it could have also been another ancestor of mine : Fleming Uriah Walker-22757

Any help finding the notice would be much appreciated.

Thanks!
I just put a search in Findmypast, and it came up with a few hits, but I could only find adverts for finalyzing his estate, nothing more, sorry
Thanks for looking :)

I may have found it through someone’s tree on ancestry about 10 years ago when I had a membership. But I seem to remember also finding it in one of the historical newspaper databases. Shucks! I hate that I can’t remember the details, lol.

I’ll keep searching. Thank you!

Georgia historic newspapers are online free including the Macon papers.   MILLEDGEVILLE was the capitol at the time of the war and had articles from all over the state in its papers.   Try a search for Georgia Historic Newspapers GALILEO.  If you don't find it check back here and I'll find a link. Good luck.  Cherry

Thank you. I still can't find the obit/short blurb using either name. Maybe I imagined it, lol!

I do know that I saw it on ancestry, but I don't have an account there to see photos attached to trees.
