I'm searching for a crew member who mentioned a Captain Jamieson in a letter home, in 1936.  I'm searching for the ship and crew list.

Thank You

Sandy

Yes, John Leask Jamieson was b October, 1890 in Shetland and was a master mariner.  He married & had one son.  Have further information if you are interested including his parents.

Thank you... My grandfather had mentioned Capt Jamieson in a letter along with someone named "Morrison".. Was there a Morrison in the crew?

Thanks, Sandy
No idea if a Morrison was involved with the crew.  However, John L Jamieson, Master Mariner, died in May 1969 in the St Vincent's Hospital, Vancouver, B.C., Canada & his wife Johann Ursula Gowdie (also born in Shetland) d. July 1979 also in St Vincent's Hospital Vancouver, BC, Canada.

Am wondering if you have a list of the ship in question?  If so have you looked at Shipping Lists?
