How to Merge Nichkelle-9 and Nichols-5085. Says Merge pending

The proposed merge for Nichols-5085 and Nickolls-9 has reached default approval, so you can complete it now. The actual merge is completed manually.

Presumably, you are wanting to merge into Nicholls-9. If that is NOT the correct birth surname, you can reverse the merge direction during the merge process

If you are uncertain about merging the profiles yourself, Valerie, just post back and ask for another (experienced with merging, of course!) WikiTreer to complete it for you.

I am unable to merge Nickolls-9 and Nichols-5085. Merge has been approved, but I am totally confused.

Please provide expert help, as offered, to complete this action. The 11 children mentioned on both profiles are full siblings, not half.  Need help there too.

Apparently there was another merge in the system, Nichols-5085 into Nickolls-53, so the merge between Nichols-5085 and Nickolls-9 is no longer possible since the other merge was completed.

Nickolls-9 and Nickolls-53 now should be merged. Normally the merge would go into the lower number (when they have the same birth surname): Nicholls-53 into Nicholls-9. However, since a merge into Nicholls-53 has already been completed, the policy may be to merge all other duplicates into that profile. At this point, we should ask for a leader or arborist to assist to prevent any errors.
