How do I 'watch' pages of my line that someone else manages?

I'd like to be able to see or be notified when someone else adds to or edits someone in my line that I don't manage.

You can request to be added to the Trusted List of profiles that you're not managing. Your Watch List includes profiles for which you are the manager or on the Trusted List.

WikiTree doesn't have a true "watchlist". It has the Trusted List, where you have to ask to be added. This also gives you additional editing privileges beyond just watching.

The lack of the ability to add a profile to a watch list without having to get added to the Trusted List is one of wikitree's worst bugs (errr, I mean "features") imho.

Janie, if many of these people have the same surname, you can add that surname to your list of tags on your own profile.  That way, you'll get notified of all activity on all profiles with that surname, but that may be a lot more than the ones you're interested in - so many that you may feel like you're drowning in notifications.  At least, this way you don't have to be on the trusted list to be notified, though.
