I did some searching in Google, and did not find a Scots connection for this surname. A couple of different sources gave it an origin in the north of England (Yorkshire), or of Germanic origin.

Perhaps someone has better information?

I just did a quick check on scotlandspeople.gov.uk for the surname Gundrum and came up blank. What makes you think there may be a Scottish clan with the name?

Try house of names dot com. Seems it is a northern British name, with many variants including Grundy and Gundry.
