Interesting article, Pip! It was nice to see a dad’s perspective on this. I was so thankful to have the confirmation that my family tree is “correct” up to the grandparent level (I match people on every side of my grandparents families in the appropriate ways). It was never really a question I guess, but going into it I had read so many things that I couldn’t help but worry somewhere deep inside me that it was all going to fall apart. But thankfully it didn’t fall apart. I hope stuff like this will be healing for the families that it did go through, to tell them they’re not alone in this.
