There appears to be a match to a profile that I'm adding. Now what?

I was adding a profile and when I hit "add", it shows a list of possible matches.  This time, one of them is very likely a match (Barnes-960), so I clicked over to the page to ask to be added to the trust list.  But the user is inactive and my add is still hanging.  Do I have to exit the add and lose all the info that I entered?

if it is a duplicate profile you can request a merge or ask an Arborist for help.

I have not created a duplicate profile.  I guess my question is: Do I create a duplicate profile that can be resolved later so I can keep on going or ask for and wait for help to resolve the situation now?  Also, how do I ask an Arborist for help?

Roger if you need help from an Arborist the best way is to ask here. Make sure you use the following tags Arborist, merges, merging
