Bermuda during the 1600s - which project?

This profile is project-protected due to disputed information about her relations. They went from England to the Bermudas in the 1600s.

I've temporarily placed US History on there, but that's not quite accurate. I think it needs to be England.

Some descendants stayed in Bermuda, some went to the Bahamas, some to Virginia.

But I think this profile needs the England project. Right?

I would definitely lean towards England as I think U.S. History is misleading.  Is there an English Colonies project?  Or a U.K. Territories project?

Oh, there is a Bermuda Project:  https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Project:Bermuda

Thanks for finding that.

Weird; it's not on the list of projects that have project google group accounts.

And it has a sticker, but no project box, so perhaps they don't protect profiles.
There are MANY "projects" that don't have project accounts, so they need to work under the wing of another project's umbrella (as sub-projects). But having a project box that names the specific project is a good thing, as it should make it easier to transition the project to full Project status in the future when there's a Leader for the project and a critical.mass of members.

"Caribbean" would be a worthwhile umbrella project....
The Bermuda project does have a google group but is not on the compiled list of projects with google groups. That lists needs updating.

Hi Jillaine and thanks for contacting me.   The Bermuda Project is a sub of the United Kingdom Project as a British Overseas Territory.    I've added the UK Project as one of the managers and our project template to the profile.

I'll leave it to your good self to add the Bermuda Project sticker if you wish.

I've just removed the US History project template and account because it doesn't make as much sense as the UK template. Thanks, Maria. It's all yours.
