I will like to return this hand-embroidered peace dating to 18 35 to the BOYDEN family. It is a child's embroidery, nicely done and framed. Unfortunately it has a couple of blemishes in the middle, however it is still legible. It lists names of Luther Boyden born September 30th 1788, Thea's Bond born April 8th 1790 and these two were married August 6th 1811.

Names of children born number 8 Mary a warden born July 17th 1812, Alexander Boyden born April 14th 1814, a female infant unnamed born February 20th 1823, Eunice , John Luther and Minerva.

The tapestry was "Wrought by Eunice a Borden aged 11 yrs" .(1835)

Please contact me by email to discuss return if this family heirloom to a rightful member.

Joelle,

It doesn't look like Luthor Boyden has a profile here on WikiTree. I sent a message to someone who has Luthor Boyden in their family tree on Ancestry.com. Hopefully she is interested and will send you a message.
