Can I search connected people with a particular surname?

I have a name with quite a few unconnected.  Can I search for that surname that are connected to look for a place to connect in to? I'm spending a lot of time going in to profiles to find they aren't connected either.

One way to do it is go to your Watchlist. Click on Unconnected. Then hit the View All tab and put a surname in the box where it says limit to surname

If you want people to see this, you need to tag it with relevant tags.  Not many people follow "suisted" if any.  However, I like to look at everything.

You should always give a link to a profile if possible so people know who you're talking to.

To answer your question, if youo click on the surname you get a list of everyone.  You have the option of looking at only unconnected but not connected.

I see you've asked a related  question elsewhere so you've made a little progress.

There are only 25 Suisted names on the entire list, 17 on the unconnected and it appears they are all connected to each other.  You may very well be the person that brings them all into the tree at once.

It appears the original Suisted has a history and his original name was Sjöstedt  http://www.nzsba.nz/latest-news/news-archive/October-2013/Swedish-Pioneer  If this is correct, you should change his LNAB to Sjöstedt.

Cheers, still learning all this.
I was just trying to connect an unconnected but now have more Suisted's but still no connection.  I'm hoping a marriage I connected less than 24 hours ago brings them all in.  I did come across the origins of the name in my travels but the family graves all use Suisted and their is no indication they used the original name.

It's clear to me that the immigrant used the anglicized name while in New Zealand. However, LNAB is  Last name at Birth, so therefore the immigrant's name needs to be changed.

I expect the change you made to the daughter will be enough to connect the family to the tree.  It would be fun to connect them at the other end to the family in Finland.  There are a couple Carl Sjostedts in the tree. Not the same one though.

I'll make the change and play around with it.

Edit:  You need to change the LNAB.  I can make other changes.

To answer your original question - yes, you can do this using the Wikitree+ tool. You might need to search the help pages for a link as I'm answering from my phone.

On the Wikitree+ page, if you scroll down there is a button or tab marked 'Search' on the left-hand side of the page. Click on it and type 'connected Suisted' in the box, without the quote marks, and it will give you all the profiles. You can use this for place names as well. I often do 'surname county' when I'm connecting.
